Gender Intentionality in Large-Scale Digital Programs
Goal
Through mixed method research, this study explores the barriers and facilitators faced by women in the uptake of digital public infrastructure.

Approach
- Landscape Analysis: Through literature review and stakeholders meetings, understanding the DPI ecosystem in India, their implementation, shortlisting DPIs and digital platforms for further research
- Primary survey: In-depth mix method study of two shortlisted platforms in congruence with pertinent stakeholders, including govt. donor, implementing organisation. The focus will be to identify and understand the barriers to the seamless implementation and uptake of DPIs in India
Impact
- The gaps identified and study recommendations will facilitate strengthening the approach towards gender intentionality in digital platforms, thereby increasing uptake among women.
